Job Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a safety-conscious and dedicated Chemical Operator to support high-performance manufacturing operations at a leading chemical production facility. Shift Schedule:
Pay:
$22.00 – $24.00 per hour (commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications)
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate chemical processing systems in accordance with safety, environmental, and production guidelines.
Follow all applicable cGMP and ISO protocols to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals and waste in line with safety procedures.
Proactively identify and report equipment or process deviations to supervision.
Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety, productivity, and process understanding.
Support emergency response activities related to hazardous waste incidents.
Obtain and maintain required process certifications and documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred; chemical processing experience strongly preferred .
Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will be considered.
Comfortable using hand tools, operating machinery, and utilizing computer systems.
Must be available for overtime and flexible shift coverage as required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This role requires working in a chemical plant with exposure to fumes, noise, and industrial equipment.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout 12-hour shifts.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
