ABOUT
The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA), created by the State of Louisiana in 1968 as the Community Improvement Agency (CIA), is a public agency charged with the revitalization of underinvested areas in the City of New Orleans.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer responsible for coordinating and monitoring grant programs and contracts funded by the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) and New Orleans Redevelopment Unlimited (NORU). Candidates are required to have federal grants management experience and familiarity with Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards 2 CFR 200 which provides the framework for the grants lifecycle, performance, and audit requirements. In addition, the Compliance Officer works closely with team members across all departments, external housing development partners, and vendors ensuring projects are implemented in compliance with internal program policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Minimum Education
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance, Business/Public Administration, Management or related field preferred.
Experience
Experience using Financial Management Software, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., will be an added advantage.

SALARY AND COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position will be commensurate with experience. NORA offers a benefit package which includes medical, dental and vision insurance, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, and access to a 457(b) deferred compensation plan with up to 5% employer-matched contributions.
