Location: Hinckley, OH
Salary: $75k-$120k
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Construction Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Construction Engineer will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop project plans and specifications.
- Prepare and review engineering designs and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with ODOT regulations and requirements.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams and resolve on-site challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in construction engineering or project management.
- Knowledge of roadway design and construction practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with ODOT guidelines and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
