Position Overview
The Corporate Controller will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting principles while providing strategic financial guidance. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the overall business objectives through effective management of financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and improve efficiencies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate and assist with external audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions to optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses to support business initiatives and strategies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans and forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance role, with at least 3 years in a Controller position.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with cost accounting and financial accounting processes is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage compliance auditing and reporting requirements.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
