The Crown Is Yours We’re searching for a Corporate Counsel to provide top-tier legal support to stakeholders across the organization. As a member of the Gaming and Regulatory group, you will play a critical role in advising on all regulatory matters related to our gaming products. Success in this role requires exceptional legal skills, sound business and legal judgment, and a strong commitment to DraftKings’ growth and success. What you’ll do as a Corporate Counsel Work with various business units to navigate regulatory and legal issues impacting the company’s licensed and regulated product offerings. Support the Compliance Team in interpreting regulatory and licensing guidelines. Engage with outside regulators to anticipate and resolve disputes concerning the application of regulations to the company’s products and operations. Regularly evaluate the user-facing aspects of the company’s products to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Guide the company’s approach to legal and regulatory issues related to customer communications. Collaborate with attorneys across the Legal department to coordinate cross-functional legal input. Manage and oversee outside law firms when necessary. What you’ll bring At least four years of legal experience at a law firm, in-house, or within a state or federal regulatory or enforcement body. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials. A genuine desire to learn and adapt to an in-house legal environment within a fast-paced, technology-driven company. Strong business and legal judgment with excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic work environment. Demonstrated experience in reviewing and analyzing regulations. Join Our Team We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the process if this is relevant to your role. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 160,800.00 USD - 201,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
