Job Description

Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with coding or machine learning. Experience working with AI/ML models, APIs, or platforms, particularly in generative domains (e.g., interacting with LLMs, text-to-image models, etc.). A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in Technology design. Preferred qualifications Ability to work with ambiguity and learn new technologies in a fluid, R&D-focused environment. Ability to grow in a fluid environment on multiple projects in a start-up atmosphere. Ability to create and work at the forefront of AI innovation. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. About the job The central AI marketing team is the hub for AI launches, bringing cutting‑edge technology to developers and early adopters. As a Creative Technologist on the team you will be pivotal in translating the abstract power of our early‑stage AI technologies into tangible, compelling, and understandable experiences. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and building groundbreaking demos and use cases that showcase the potential of our AI models—from media generation (image, video, audio) to sophisticated code generation helping shape the narrative for our most exciting product launches and inspiring AI super fans with what they can now build. More than just a programmer, you have a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of what makes an experience visually compelling and emotionally resonant in thumb‑stopping formats across social & digital experiences. This position requires the ability to work cross‑functionally to understand products, but execute autonomously at a pace, and maintain a resilient, flexible mindset to thrive amid the issues of a fluid technology. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems— from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can— changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $141,000–$206,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google. Responsibilities Drive the prototyping of innovative demos, interactive experiences, and proofs‑of‑concept using our latest AI models and APIs, working closely with Product and Marketing teams to translate them into clear, effective creative narratives. Develop functional, polished prototypes for product launches that clearly demonstrate the value and capabilities of our AI across our models and early‑stage products; content will live across social and digital experiences. Leverage strong design, aesthetics, and user experience to create all demos that are not only technically impressive but also engage and inspire the next generation of developers. Research and experiment with the latest advancements in AI, creative coding toolkits, and interactive technologies to continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible and be inspired by what is being experimented with across the AI builders communities. We are committed to building a workforce that is representative of the users we serve, creating a culture of belonging, and providing an equal employment opportunity regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding), expecting or parents‑to‑be, criminal histories consistent with legal requirements, or any other basis protected by law.
