About the Role

Process all KinGap applications and follow up to ensure cases expeditiously move toward Kinship Guardianship.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with casework staff to identify potential KinGap cases

• Collaborate with home finding staff to ensure kinship homes are expedited within allotted time frames
• Attend FTC conference for children with a goal change to KinGap guardianship
• Gather documents to timely complete KinGap application for submission to ACS
• Track and monitor the status of KinGap applications
• Troubleshoot and address all delays in processing KinGap applications
• Confer with prospective KinGap families to provide overview of KinGap guardianship
• Other assignments as directed by supervisor.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and knowledge of child welfare system/ kinship guardianship
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Computer proficient, Excel, knowledge of Connections
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week.
• Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required)
