We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in .NET and Cloud technologies . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and leadership. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining full stack applications hosted on both on-prem and cloud platforms, as well as leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of full stack solutions using .NET and Cloud technologies .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains at the forefront of innovation

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience designing and developing complex applications
  • Proficiency in C# .NET API design and development
  • Experience in designing and building solutions using Azure cloud services
  • Experience with cloud-first architectures and related Azure services, e.g. Container Apps, API Management / App Gateway, Key Vault, App Services, Logic Apps, SQL MI
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and related technologies e.g. Bicep, ARM, Terraform
  • Familiarity with modern cloud-native patterns principles, e.g. Twelve-Factor Apps, Service Oriented Architectures / microservices / REST, DevOps, Continuous Deployment, and Site Reliability Engineering
  • Experience designing and developing full-stack business critical enterprise systems
  • Experience as a technical leader; leading and mentoring a team of engineers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working on agile teams and release trains, and knowledge of SAFe, is preferred
  • Experience in Angular and SQL is a plus
  • Property Casualty Insurance experience is a plus
