Position Overview
Join a dynamic Association Management Company that serves a diverse portfolio of mission-driven clients. We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support our communications and events teams. This role plays a vital part in the creation of promotional materials (print and on-line marketing), developing marketing campaigns, managing digital and print communications, contributing to web content, and supporting the promotion of conferences, expos, and programs worldwide.

You’ll work collaboratively across departments to develop compelling content, ensure consistent branding, and help amplify the voices and missions of the associations we represent.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Digital Communications

  • Plan, create, and schedule multi-channel content for web, email, and social media
  • Design and update promotional materials (flyers, brochures, programs) aligned with brand standards
  • Coordinate and implement e-mail marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Develop and manage content calendars
  • Collaborate with internal teams on messaging, storytelling, and promotions
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance

Analytics & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and track key metrics (e.g., email open rates, click-through rates, website traffic, social engagement)
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to guide campaign optimization
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing dashboards, social media insights) to assess effectiveness
  • Recommend improvements based on data trends and user behavior

Public Relations & Media

  • Draft and edit press releases, announcements, and feature stories
  • Serve as a media liaison and brand ambassador
  • Support external communications, including speaking opportunities and media outreach
  • Maintain updated press and contact lists

Website & Content Management

  • Assist in developing and updating client websites
  • Manage updates to digital assets and multimedia content

Operations & Admin

  • Answer incoming calls and assist with general office tasks
  • Support shipping and logistical needs for conferences and expos
  • Maintain accurate databases and generate reports (budget, registration, board updates)
  • Budget creation and auditing

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing or communications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience with email marketing tools and social media platforms
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or video editing tools
  • Knowledge of website CMS platforms (e.g., Wix, WordPress) and/or AMS (Association Management Software)
  • Basic HTML/CSS or coding knowledge for web/email troubleshooting and editing
  • Association or event management experience is a plus

Position Details

Reports To: President of Elevate
Works With: MarCom Team, Event Staff, Membership Managers, Executive Director
Work Environment: In-office position
T ravel Requirement: Low to Medium (approximately 2 to 5 out of state visits a year).

This is an office position for an Association Management Company that does require some travel. The company organizes and manages multiple conferences, exhibits and events worldwide each year. This position requires travel to an annual event (6-7 days) and multiple other events (1-3 days) throughout the year.

 

Compensation is based on qualifications.
