About the Role
As the Marketing & Social Media Manager , youll lead our online presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram , and more. Youll create engaging content, manage outreach strategies, and help build a consistent, authentic brand voice. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and showcase your creativity in a real-world setting.
Responsibilities
Plan and create content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
Develop and maintain a content calendar
Write engaging posts, captions, and messaging that reflect our brand
Design basic visuals using Canva or similar tools (or coordinate with designers)
Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages as needed
Research and implement strategies to grow followers and improve reach
Coordinate outreach to schools, tech communities, and user groups for visibility
Ideal Candidate
Strong writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling
Experience or coursework in marketing, communications, or social media management
Familiar with platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X
Comfortable using tools like Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite , or native schedulers
Organized, proactive, and creativeable to take initiative and own the role
Able to commit 510 hours per week on a flexible schedule
Bonus Points For
Experience running ad campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, Google)
Graphic design, video editing, or motion graphics
PR/media outreach or brand ambassador experience
