THE ROLE:

This senior remote sales position focuses on building and managing customer relationships throughout the New England region (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys working directly with clients, and lives in the Boston, MA area.

The role centers on specifying mechanical products for major construction projects, including those in healthcare, universities, airports, life sciences, data centers, semiconductor facilities, and more. Internally, you will partner closely with engineering and support teams to ensure customer requirements are met across the project timeline.

A major part of the job involves developing and sustaining relationships with mechanical engineers, engineering firms, and Owners. The company supports proactive outreach through networking events, golf outings, social gatherings, and similar activities.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 7 years of experience in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, general contracting, or MEP engineering
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
  • Enjoys client interaction and professional networking
  • Must live in Boston and be willing to travel regionally (up to 30% overnight)
  • Bachelors degree required
