Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Medical Affairs Specialist who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and wanting to utilize their scientific expertise to join us in our US Dermatology Medical Affairs team, based in our Atlanta office in Georgia.
The Medical Affairs Specialist is responsible for managing the activities of the Dermatology Medical Affairs team, including medical plans, congress activities, Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), external engagement, and planning & execution of special projects.
The Medical Affairs Specialist will be with members of the US Dermatology Medical Affairs team such as the Medical Leads, Medical Communication Specialist, and Medical Science Liaisons. They will also be working cross-functionally with the Congress leads, CME/Sponsorship teams, and various functions within the organization.
What you will do:
- Works with Medical leadership to prepare for internal meetings and implement outcomes
- Manages activities from Medical Affairs agencies for key deliverables
- Leads/supports tactical projects as assigned
- Supports the dermatology medical affairs team with management of medical plans
- Lead Congress management for Medical Affairs

Basic Requirements:
- Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, PhD)
- One 1 prior medical affairs experience, including relevant post-doctoral fellowships, in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
Preferred Requirements:
- Able to adapt behavior to situation, to influence outcomes without direct authority and to hold oneself and others accountable for commitments
- Excellent written, oral communication and strong organizational skills
