Under the general supervision of Operating Room (OR) leadership, this position is responsible for supporting surgical operations by ensuring the proper setup, maintenance, and cleaning of operating room equipment, as well as delivering and retrieving equipment to guarantee availability and functionality at all times. The role includes maintaining adequate inventory of essential supplies such as OR solutions, personal protective equipment, and gas tanks required for surgical procedures.
Additionally, the position assists clinical workflow by safely transporting conscious, semi-conscious, and unconscious patients between treatment areas and nursing units via wheelchair, gurney, or bed, and by lifting, positioning, and transferring patients who require moderate to total assistance in accordance with safety protocols. Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and safe OR operations under a fast-paced environment.
