Location: Princeton, NJ

Compensation: $25–$30/hour, paid on the books

Schedule & Hours:

School Year Schedule (September–June)

• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Friday: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Guaranteed: 27.5 hours per week

Summer Schedule (July–August)

• To Be Determined
• Guaranteed: 20 hours per week

About the Family:

A warm and welcoming family in Princeton, NJ is seeking a long-term, professional career nanny to join their household starting September 3rd, 2025. The family values open communication, kindness, and a team approach to raising their daughter. Their parenting style promotes independence while maintaining gentle, respectful boundaries through meaningful conversations.

Child Information:

• Age: Turning 5 in December
• Personality: Spunky, curious, independent, and inquisitive
• Special Notes: Born without a right arm – she is highly capable but may require minor activity modifications
• Needs: After-school pickup, transportation to activities, help with homework, and engaging play that blends creativity with structure

Ideal Nanny Profile:

• At least 2 years of professional nanny experience with one or more families
• Warm, upbeat, organized, and confident with a calm, can-do attitude
• Skilled at setting firm but kind boundaries while encouraging autonomy
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and able to adapt without stress
• Holds a valid driver’s license and owns a reliable vehicle (gas/mileage covered)
• Enjoys being part of a family-style team rather than a formal employer-employee dynamic

Responsibilities Include:

• School pickup and transportation to extracurriculars
• Creating fun, developmentally appropriate activities
• Supporting early academic skills and homework
• Light snack prep and tidying of child’s space/items
• Empowering independence while maintaining consistency

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)
• Guaranteed hours:

- 27.5 hours/week during the school year

- 20 hours/week during the summer

• Paid on the books
• Mileage reimbursement or gas coverage for driving
• 2 weeks PTO at nanny’s discretion
• Unpaid holidays off (family is flexible on days)
• Paid NJ sick leave in accordance with state law

PTO is recommended to begin after a 90-day probationary period.
