Position: Entry-Level Phlebotomist / Greeter

Location: Sarasota, FL 34232

Type: Contract (High potential for full-time conversion)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift with Rotational Saturdays (40 hours/week)

Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour (based on experience, expertise, and education)

Job Summary:

Pride Health is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals for an Entry-Level Phlebotomist / Greeter position in Sarasota, FL . This role is ideal for candidates passionate about healthcare who are eager to grow into a phlebotomy career through hands-on training and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients during check-in at the lobby, kiosks, or handheld tablets.
• Support patients by answering questions and ensuring a smooth registration process.
• Cover for teammates during breaks to maintain consistent workflow and appointment availability.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Participate in training programs to transition into a Phlebotomist role within 6–12 months.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience (healthcare, home health, caregiving, or retail preferred).
• Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required — full training provided.
• Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (depending on location).
• Reliable transportation to commute to assigned locations.
