Colorado Springs Pediatric Dentistry is a well-established dental office where we have the pleasure of treating the dental needs of children who reside in Colorado Springs and the many surrounding areas. We are a very close team of about 30 people and have two office locations. All team members at Colorado Springs Pediatric Dentistry strive to provide outstanding dental care and go above and beyond to provide a 5-star customer service experience!

We are currently looking for a new team member to join our clinical dental assistant team in Colorado Springs! Experience in dental assisting and with Dentrix software are preferred but are not required. We will train the right candidate!

The ideal candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and self-motivation are a must! If you have these skills combined with a strong work ethic, we welcome you to apply!

Some of the responsibilities of our dental assistants include the following

• Maintaining a positive and uplifting attitude, helping patients feel comfortable
• Preforming routine dental appointment procedures such as prophylaxis and radiographs
• Area set-up and break down/ cleaning for hygiene appointments and in operatories
• Patient and parent communication and detailed education
• Accurately document pertinent information in patient notes as well as relay information to doctors and other necessary staff
• Sterilization of instruments
• Effective navigation of office software (Dentrix) to include, but not limited to charting, treatment planning, and posting charges
• Reviewing necessary documentation and forms with parents, including treatment consents
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Assisting in dental treatment operatories, sedations, and general anesthesia appointments

This list can evolve and change to meet the demands of the practice as needed
