Join Carmen's Coffee Company and be part of our fun espresso truck team! We are seeking an energetic part-Time Porter - Coffee Barista to join us in Long Beach, CA . If you enjoy engaging with cool people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and of course, love coffee, then this is the job for you.

The pay for this role depends on your job duties. You earn $18.00/hour when working as a Porter and $17.25/hour plus tips when working as a Coffee Barista. We provide discounted coffee and a gym membership after 1 year of employment . Interested? Keep reading to learn more!

OUR STORY

Carmen's Gypsy Coffee Bar is Long Beach's original espresso truck offering an on-location, full-service espresso and tea bar, vegan and gluten-free pastries, Spanish pressed paninis, breakfast quiche, house nitro cold brew, and much more! Carmen is a namesake and was the owner, Elisa Bertone's mother, who is from a very large family of 11 brothers and sisters. All of the siblings were Flamenco entertainers on stage from a very young age. Elisa's family is from the caves of Andalusia Spain and her uncle, Rene Heredia, is still very prominent in the genre. Elisa's first cousin, Andreana, still has dance troupes all over Colorado to this day!

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of janitorial experience
• Schedule flexibility
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record

You typically work in the late afternoon or evening from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM , depending on the day or event. For December only: shifts may range from 5:00 pm - 12:00 midnight or 7:00 pm - 12:00 midnight. Do you love to have fun and entertain others? AVERAGE DAY

You play a vital part in keeping our business running smoothly. You ensure we're ready for business by keeping our truck clean and organized. From wiping down surfaces to restocking supplies, you maintain a pristine environment for our customers. You also step into a barista role when extra help is needed. At the end of the day, you make sure our truck is cleaned up, equipment is turned off, and we're all set for whatever the next event brings.
