Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Project Accountant to join our successful environmental engineering firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and sending accurate invoices in a timely matter using client-specific formatting
• Coordinating with Project Managers to receive and incorporate their draft invoice comments and reports into final invoices.
• Emailing and Submitting invoices through client portals
• Coordinating with Subconsultants to ensure their invoices are accurate and meet our clients’ requirements
• Opening and closing projects
• A/R Review and assisting in collection efforts
• Entering and posting subconsultant invoices
• Preparing other reports as necessary

Duties include:

• Has a Business or Accounting degree or relevant accounting experience
• Has a positive attitude, professional demeanor and appearance
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Can multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, problem solving and deadline-driven environment
• Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and task oriented
• Is comfortable learning new technologies, tools and platforms
• Has Strong computer skills in MS Office, PDF and Windows applications
• Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is a plus
