We are representing an innovative biotech company in the SF Bay Area seeking a Scientist – Biology to join its collaborative and fast-paced R&D team . This is a hands-on laboratory role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology , who thrives on scientific discovery and teamwork. What You’ll Do: Design and conduct experiments in molecular biology, cell biology, and/or biochemistry to support research programs. Culture and maintain various cell lines , and perform assays such as qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry , and cell-based functional assays . Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data; maintain meticulous lab notebooks and electronic records. Prepare research summaries/presentations for internal teams and external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional groups including chemistry, bioinformatics, and project management to accelerate program goals. Maintain lab equipment and ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards . What You Bring: B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline. 3–5 years of relevant lab experience in academic, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments. Proficiency in core techniques such as cell culture, molecular cloning, qPCR, ELISA, Western blot , etc. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A collaborative spirit with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Background in immunology, neuroscience , or antibody-based therapeutics is a plus. Familiarity with assay development or high-throughput screening methods.
