Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold accounts related to sales and service transactions.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Review vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and expense reports for accuracy.
• Partner with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and inventory reporting.
• Support audits and prepare documentation as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
• Experience with Lightspeed or similar ERP/accounting systems strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in the marine dealership is required.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
