Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver financial insights, forecasting, and reporting in support of operational and strategic goals. This role will partner with leadership to evaluate business performance, create financial models, and prepare budgets and forecasts. The ideal candidate will bring a background in financial planning & analysis, strong modeling experience, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities: - Conduct financial and operational analyses to assess the impact of business initiatives and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Build and maintain detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support investment decisions and long-term planning.
- Develop and distribute monthly KPI scorecards and reports, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Partner with operational and field leadership to explain results, guide decision-making, and support ad hoc financial needs.
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget, incorporating sales, margin, and expense projections.
- Prepare standard and non-standard financial reports for management review.
- Support month-end processes, ensuring financial results are accurate and timely.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, sharing best practices and supporting professional development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to refine financial assumptions, validate data, and improve reporting processes.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with strong budgeting and forecasting expertise.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort working through assumptions and imperfect data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, positive approach.
