Role Overview:
Are you a social media aficionado who thrives on analyzing, tracking, and reporting data while crafting attention-grabbing content to enhance brand identity? As our Social Media Manager, you'll drive creative ideation and production across our various channels, increasing engagement and captivating our communities. We seek a strategic self-starter and experienced storyteller, especially adept at video content creation.
Responsibilities:
• Devise, execute, and oversee the company's social media strategy and campaigns on diverse platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Plan and execute content strategy across various themes including Education, Entertainment, Inspiration and Impact, and Third-Party collaborations.
• Create compelling content to boost traffic, heighten brand awareness, and foster engagement.
• Manage a social media editorial calendar ensuring consistent, timely content creation.
• Analyze metrics for optimization of social media strategy and campaigns.
• Collaborate with multiple teams including Sales, Brand Marketing, Graphics, Social Media, E-Learn, and Digital Marketing on company initiatives and projects. • Work with the Graphic Designer to develop assets for social channels (stories, highlight icons, etc).
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience, including 3+ years in social media at a lifestyle brand or in an editorial setting.
• Proven experience in content creation across social media platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot).
• In-depth understanding of social channels and analytics (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) for effective content utilization.
• Immersed in current social media trends with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
• A team player and independent worker with strong time and project management skills.
• Ability and eagerness to travel within Canada/US, recording diverse content in different cities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
