Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on your community? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Community Solar Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential CMP/Versant customers throughout Maine, with the benefits of local community solar farms and helping home owners schedule rooftop solar consultations.

No experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and desire to earn are required! We'll provide you with industry training so that you can help customers save money on their electricity costs.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Engage with residential and small business utility customers in your community

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in energy, our community and rooftop offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly.

Benefits:

• Uncapped commissions with performance-based incentives
• W2 full time, or 1099 role allowing for flexibility
• W2 with sales experience has a base pay; 1099 will qualify for a $1000 training bonus and $400 weekly bonus potential
• Average weekly combined pay should be in the $1200-2000 range
• Access to training and resources to enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Opportunity to qualify for 2 company funded team vacations yearly (ie. Greece, Morocco, Jamaica etc)
• Paid training (1 week of training will be conducted in MA after onboarding is complete )

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to get around Maine
• Must pass our Background Check screening
• Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently, handle rejection and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility: Willingness to learn new knowledge and skills, plus adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.

Note: This is a 1099, commission only, contract sales role with fantastic potential. W2 is only for candidates with prior outside sales experience. With proven performance, an entry level team member can be promoted into sales leadership role in the region to train future sales representatives.
