A Spanish Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered instruction that develops language proficiency and cultural understanding. This role includes planning and implementing lessons that build skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while using a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher creates a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and confidence in learning a new language. Responsibilities include assessing student progress through assignments, quizzes, and performance-based activities, and providing timely, constructive feedback. The Spanish Teacher also maintains accurate records, communicates regularly with students, parents, and colleagues, and participates in professional development to stay current with best practices in world language instruction. Additional duties may involve organizing cultural activities, supporting school events, and integrating technology to enhance learning. This position requires strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to inspire enthusiasm for Spanish language and culture.
