Manzano Animal Clinic is in the northeast\nheights of beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are a small animal hospital serving\nthe dogs and cats of our community since 1963. Throughout the years, we have\ndeveloped and maintained a reputation as a high-quality practice. Our doctors\nare encouraged to share knowledge and opinions and treat each hospitalized\npatient with a cooperative effort.

About Our Hospital

  • 6000\nsq. ft. facility with five exam rooms, two surgical suites, a large treatment\narea, a small canine ward, a large canine ward, a feline ward, and an isolation\nward.
  • In-house\nlaboratory with IDEXX Catalyst Dx, ProCyte, and SediVue
  • IDEXX\nDigital Radiography

Job Summary

The Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable\nmember of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing Doctor and\nsupporting medical staff. This individual advances the quality of medicine in\nthe practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and\npatients. To promote continued learning, we are offering our new doctor\nspecialized CE training in an area of their choice such as dentistry, ultrasound,\netc. in addition to a yearly CE allowance.

Work-Life Harmony

We prioritize work-life harmony in our\nhospital because we believe our team members should feel supported,\nappreciated, and valued. Our practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and\nthere is no on-call. Our schedules allow doctors to have time to see cases, get\nhelp, and ask questions to allow for minimal catch-up work. We also provide\nlaptops if doctors choose to access records remotely.
