TITLE: 3D Leader, Product Development, Furniture

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Initial freelance booking for 6 months, with the possibility of full-time employment.

LOCATION: San Francisco Bay Area

ON-SITE EXPECTATIONS: At least 4 days a week

JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Work directly with Senior PD team to convert inspiration images and antiques into 3D Product models and renderings for product development, Furniture team.


- Create rapid and iterative 3D product models and renderings to be reviewed in real time
•Develop, deploy, and foster 3D industrial design workflows
•Coordinate and develop PD CMF library with 3D render artists
•Liaison with Product Development team to convert vendor drawings to STPs, OBJs, and DWGs
•Partner with 3D team to concept and reverse engineer 3D scan data

OUR REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be comfortable working in person with senior leadership
•Understands how to work in Nurbs, SubD, and mesh modeling
•Strong understanding of in texture mapping for 3D rendering
•Expert level knowledge of Rhino and or Solidworks and or 3DS Max
•Proficiency with software: Auto CAD, Adobe CC, Vray, Corona, Fusion, Grasshopper,

and Blender.
•Must have experience working with cross-functional teams
•Must have strong written communication skills
•Can work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment
