Job Summary This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing support, guidance, proper follow-up and resolution of client inquiries or issues. Along with coordinating with sales department, shipping, receiving, customer, delivery truck services and the logistics operations.
Job Responsibilities - Assist customer with product questions, ordering, order tracking
- Issue credits or debits accurately when applicable
- Answer incoming calls
- Categorize, file, and maintain ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records
- Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
- Prepare delivery tickets and related shipping documents
- Understand the product availability and logistic issues of specific projects
- Check and review all orders assigned before they are shipped against delivery tickets
- Coordinate deliveries with company truck drivers and external trucking companies to ensure timely delivery of materials to customers

- High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience in related function
- At least 1 year of related experience
- Detailed oriented
- Good with basic math
- Skilled in Microsoft Office suite
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with a multi-line phone system
- Attention to detail
- Pleasant phone personality
- Ability to multi-task
- Dispatch experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard
- Bending and some lifting
- Extensive writing
- Extensive phone and radio use
- Tasks can be very repetitive
- Slight lifting of ship tickets and overnight packages
Compensation - Pay is $21-$23/hr
- Vacation hours of two weeks per year
