Job Description & Requirements
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 6:45AM - 6:45PM and 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

MS RN's care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases or are recovering from surgery. Med Surg unit of a facility is where ill patients go to recover before being discharged. They handle large patient loads, juggle multiple patient populations, and adapt to the ever-changing face of nursing care. Although most MS RN's work in the Med Surg unit of hospitals, they can work in a variety of settings includes camps, clinics, schools, and ambulatory care centers.

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
• You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
• RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
• ACLS occasionally required

*Per Diem Shifts Available Recent Experience Required.

Located in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, Thousand Oaks has a large recreation area with basketball courts, a children’s play area, soccer fields and lighted tennis courts. Take a short drive into Los Angeles, visit Disney Land, tour Tinseltown or go shopping at the famous Grove. Stay in town and try one of the many restaurants, tour the Japanese Gardens or go shopping at one of the many shops.
