Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a day shift position performing diagnostic imaging in general, abdominal, and OB/GYN sonography.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a diagnostic imaging department
• Perform ultrasound procedures in OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, neurosonology, and ophthalmology
• Day shifts: Monday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Potential to float to other departments within clinical scope as needed
• Perform imaging procedures to assist in diagnosis or treatment as requested by licensed practitioners
• Apply professional judgment and maintain medical ethics in all services provided
• Recognize and respond to patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited sonography program or equivalent
• Certification by the ARDMS or an equivalent approved certification
• Licensed in the State of Oregon as an Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer (license required if applicable)
