ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Nampa, Idaho.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (possibly more if needed based on staffing needs)
\n• Holiday shifts required when there is a need
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 in 10-bed Intensive Care Unit
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• BSN degree not required
\n• Minimum 1 year ICU experience required, first-time travelers acceptable
\n• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem
\n• Required to read telemetry strips as there are no telemetry technicians
\n• Care for patients with heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, ventilated patients, GI bleeds, strokes, TPA patients, post-code patients, pneumonia, and post-surgical complications
\n• Work with ventilators, high flow oxygen, and BiPAP equipment
\n• Float to telemetry unit with 1:3 ratio or may take full assignment, and to other ICUs in Meridian and Boise
\n• Any color scrubs acceptable as long as clean and professional
\n• 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation depending on experience
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• Must be a good team player

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center featuring a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit on the first floor. The facility provides 24/7 hospitalist coverage on-site with intensivist support available via telehealth around the clock. The ICU is staffed with respiratory therapists 24/7, a charge nurse who does not take patient assignments, administrative supervision on-site 24/7, and crisis nursing support. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support critically ill patients and emphasizes teamwork and quality patient care.
